Eye on Ads: Energy Savings II

Several months ago, I posted here a Uruguayan ad urging citizens to save energy in their homes and offices. Here today is a recent one from Argentina’s Edenor (tip of the hat to Treehugger for alerting me to it) doing the same, but using humor. Victor Sueiro, a character famous for having ‘returned from death’ and ‘seen the light,’ is asked if he remembered to turn off the light. At the end of the ad people are asked to turn off lights and appliances they are not using and to adjust their air conditioners to high settings.
