LAC Ratification of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control

I have created a standalone page on this blog that tracks the ratification status among Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) nations of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). I’ll will be updating it as the stragglers (Argentina, Bahamas, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Grenada, Haiti, Nicaragua, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname) finally ratify, and/or the two remaining anti-FCTC nations (Colombia, Dominican Republic) have a change of heart.
If you wish to follow the efforts of LAC nations to implement the Convention through new national tobacco control measures, simply click on the link to Temas Actuales News under “Temas Tools” on the righthand column, then enter “tobacco” and/or “smoking” in the search slot on the lefthand column of the News page (the search function for this blog and the one for Temas operate separately — yes, I know, we’re working on providing a single, integrated search tool!).
