 Brazil: RJ Adopts Law on Construction Waste Recycling |
| On 30 August 2006 the Governor of Rio de Janeiro state (RJ) signed a law instituting a policy of giving incentives to the use, sale and industrialization of recyclable materials from civil construction projects. The law calls for the state to create service centers that help in the sale, distribution and industrialization of recyclables resulting from construction waste, and for such recycling activities to be granted fiscal benefits and incentives. |
